Clinical Statistics of Delivery Method after Cesarean Section

Abstract

|
This study statistically on clinical observation upon 38 cases of previous cesarean section among 3817 cases of deliveries during the period from January, 1961 to March, 1967. The results are as following. 1) The incidence of previous cesarean section among 3817 cases of deliveries was 1%. 2) Of 38 previous cesarean section, vaginal delivery performd in 22 cases(57.9%) and repeat cesarean section were in 16 cases (42.1%). 3)The maternal mortality in the previous cesarean section was none. The maternal complication was 5 cases(uterine ruptur 2, early rupture of membrane 1, pre-eclampsia 2). 4) The perinatal mortality was 2 cases due to uterine rupture. Prematurity was 12.5%.
